Knowing Zhen-je for almost six years, we had never once joined her regular outings with her gang nor family members. This year, Mag (Zhenje's sister) invited us to join their family in our neighborhood RC outing to the new Zoo River Safari section where the pandas were displayed. So we bought the tickets a month ago and looked forward to the outing.
This event organized by our RC was actually a pretty good deal, each
ticket was entitled to a pack of Nasi-Lemak, free transportation and
admission to River Safari. On the day, we were welcomed by a cloudy afternoon. Four tour buses were already waiting for us while we conveniently swung ourselves downstairs at 1pm. Mag had booked the entire bus for her family, as soon as we broad the bus, we were greeted with a buzzing energy from her family in the bus. Honestly, through these years I was repeatedly amazed by the high level of life force Zhenje and her family demonstrated, they were like army tankers, always advancing and not tired.
Personally I enjoyed the nature of this trip, I don't have to do anything! I just sat and relaxed on the bus together with Shin Yang, chatting and enjoying the moment, just like holiday. We arrived shortly at the River Safari. In summary, I thought the place was really nice. There were many big aquariums and most areas were well covered to provide as much shade to the visitors as possible. The photos below would probably tell a thousand words.
