Qiqi Is Taller Than Me Now? - Jun-2011

Qiqi has already overtaken me in her shoe size since last year! While I have gradually upgraded my shoes from 5 to 5-half after so many pregnancies, Qiqi is now a steady 7 maybe even going 8! Well, that is really fine by me as I have never aspire to wear boats as shoes..

However, recently.. .. Oh my goodness gracious me!! Qiqi seems to have caught up with my nothing-to-boast-of height!! (>_<)

Has she, really?

Or maybe not? ;P

Though it is pretty much expected, I must still applaud my darling Qiqi for this accomplishment. .. .. because this is something I have never achieved; sadly, I was never taller than Mummy.

Xuan's First Lego House Review: Jun-2011

This is Xuan's very first proper Lego house, and she is extremely proud of it!! Cross-section of a one-storey apartment. Bed with round pillow and purple blanket. Tea-time.. french loaf and mug on table. Turning on the TV with the remote control. Sisters watching TV on a couch. Here's her personal review of her house!! *\(^o^)/*

Xuan's Bathroom Review: Jun-2011

During this June holidays, Xuan has taken her Lego interest to a new height as she found a means to improve her Lego building skills and knowledge - YouTube! She first found a clip on how to build a toilet bowl. After searching through her various bricks collection, she was so excited that she has all the parts for a toilet bowl!! The rest of the bathroom is history.. Then she decided that she will do her own YouTube review on her construction!! That's so cool.. i thought. So here you are, her very first uploaded YouTube video.. *\(^o^)/* In case you're wondering what is the extra set of legs doing in front of the toilet bowl, it is actually the pants of the yellow guy who took off his pants as he did his business... hmmm..

Xuan's Lego Structure & Backyard: Jun-2011

When I was a child, I remembered I enjoyed playing with building bricks like Lego. However I did not have the luxury to build much things as I never had enough bricks. So when Xuan exhibited a little.. even juz a trace of interest in Lego many years ago, I tried to arouse and develop that little interest by encouraging her to ask for Lego for gifts.. (^_-)

The below is a little structure she constructed entirely on her own with her spare bricks.. Note that the gigantic-looking lollipop in the hands of the mini figurines are ice-cream.. Xuan said it's an ice-cream sale on a hot sunny day!! Hahaa..

Kids Bowling Day : Jun-11

As a family, we have been bowling just once and during then, only Qiqi is 'big' and 'strong' enough to bowl with us. Xuan has remembered this occasion which she could not joined in the fun and since she grows 'bigger' now, she has occasionally asked me when she can try bowling also. During this June holidays, their big cousin whom got so enthusiastic and passionate about bowling recently has asked us for a bowling outing at Downtown East. Xuan is particularly excited about this and we obliged to the invitation. During that day, a pleasant surprise is the availability of a kids bowling alley for En'en to display her skills too. She enjoys and is also proud about her own performance. Qiqi, after 3 years, can control the ball better with her strength. As for Xuan, like any beginners, she did struggle a bit before she starts to enjoy the game. In fact, she got a SPARE in the late frames, something which I did not achieve in my first bowling game. Not a bad start for her first bowling experience.
