Qi has always been nonchalant how Xuan receives Edusave awards year after year for good academic results. However when she realized that her good friend was also Edusave-awarded, Qi began to lament why she did not receive anything despite her hard work and improved grades.
Nevertheless, Qi finally received an award with her most important examination results to date, her 'O' levels results! With her consistent hard work despite disappointing results, consistent gongyo and daimoku, occasionally abundant daimoku, attendance at FD meetings and challenging the Buddhism entrance exam, Qi maintained her optimism and conviction that she must and would do well for her Os. Her efforts finally paid off when she scored 6 A1s and 2 B3s, and juz 8 points for her L1R5!! With the deduction of 2 points for her CCA, she could then enter her targeted NYJC with 6 points with ease!!
