Shin Yang has always impressed me when it comes to designing creative things for Kosen-Rufu. In this new year, she is tasked to create a million-daimoku booklet for all our Euno-West members. She has managed to design it very quickly, but not missing on every little details like our Chapter's 2010 Objectives, our motto and many guidelines on Daimoku. Every page is also designed to easily monitor the number of daimoku one had achieved and with encouraging statements to motivate one to push on in completing the booklet.
After she had finalized the design, she even contacted her ex-company's printing company and got them professionally printed! Then, she engaged a local employee (ME!) to fold, staple and cut together with her. After spending a good 2 nights, we are finally ready to deliver the 250 daimoku booklets to our members. Very time consuming and energy draining, but the end result is more than satisfying.

Dear William, life is eternal and I'm sure Mr Gan and you are not juz related in this lifetime. No doubt, there is a deep karmic bond between father and son, and that transcends death. There is absolutely nothing else you can do now besides sending daimoku (chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo) to your father. Your daimoku will reach him and contribute to both yours and his happiness in this and future lifetimes to come.
Nichiren Daishonin, the Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law, boldly stated, "And yet, though one might point at the earth & miss it, though one might bind up the sky, though the tides might cease to ebb & flow and the sun rise in the west, it could never come abt tt the prayers of the practitioner of the Lotus Sutra would go unanswered."
Therefore by all means, pray to be his son again!
