Short recap: Multiple cysts were seen on my yet-born baby's left and right kidneys two weeks before I was due for my C-section. Thoroughly helpless except to chant abundant daimoku for a miracle to happen, we were adamant that our baby must be healthy. Three-day-old En'en was sent for an ultrasound scan shortly after birth to confirm the state of her kidneys. Although her kidney tissues look very normal, we were advised to do a review a year later before discharging the case.
Scans taken before En'en is borned indicating her kidneys may be malfunctiong.
Slightly more than a year now, I brought En'en back to the X-ray department for the review. After an almost two-hour wait and a most difficult and heart-wrenchin session in the ultrasound room where En'en refused to cooperate and struggled and cried non-stop, the result was finally out - En'en's kidney and bladder tissues are perfectly normal!!
