2021 ends nicely with a good birthday celebration for papa. The 4 kings did not celebrate together this time due to Convid restriction. Nevertheless, the key thing is for everyone to stay healthy and joyous for as long as we live and that i am grateful we did well in 2021! Let's continue this to 2022 and beyond.
It has been a while since we go for a walk at MacRitchie, the place is so beautiful, I cannot wait to go back again for a longer walk.

It is Dor birthday and time for a party! She is always the kind one who prepares sumptuous feast for us in most occasions. We thought we shall let her rest on her big day and order in some food... guess what, she still prepares a turkey and a Kaya log cake! Dor really knows how to feed us well.
En'en has being working most of her holidays and with her little salary, she is so kind to buy each of us a X'mas present this year, it really her time for sharing good things with us, so lovely.

Convid has been around for almost 2 years now. I am quite lucky to be working from home and do not require any regular Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) or Antigen Rapid Test (ART) testing. This month however, I am required to return to office to collect some stuffs and one of the criteria to enter into the building is an ART test! So here we go, my first ART test process.
On 18-Nov, I was tasked to take some photos during our 11.18 SGS video screening. The photo I took was featured in our Dec SSA times! So happy and proud about it! :-)
Before we end 2021, we finally have a chance to meet physically at our lovely now SGS (Soka Gakkai Singapore) HQ. We hope for a better 2022 to come for the world and the people, recovering from Convid and returning to more normalcy.
This time i finally took a video on our jogging routine at our lovely park connector.
Immediately after Xuan's exam, she had a performance at Science Centre in their "After Dark" event. So, Ling and myself went down to support her and also spent our Friday night chilling in that event. Apart from enjoying Xuan performance, there were also several 'ancient' arcade games there, very suitable for us.
Another holiday break for this year and we took the chance to explore Sungei Buloh which we never been before. As it was a Tuesday afternoon, the crowd was minimal which made our venture pretty pleasant.
This was our family date for a photo shot at Marina Barrage and then a dinner at Suntec. So difficult to arrange one nowadays as the girls grow up.

Simple celebration during Qi birthday this year, at least up to 5 people from the same household can dine together now, so we went to a Korea BBQ recommended by Qi.
When me and the family cannot travel to anywhere during the holidays, we need to find something to occupy ourselves. So, we started off with something meaningful like keeping our house clean and tidy again.
Due to a post in TikTok, Qi was on every Singapore news in Oct-2021. Personally, I felt she did the right things after her initial intent went differently from what she anticipated. However that did not stop the keyboard warriors and media to pick it up and make it as their headline.
At certain point in time as a social media influencer , I thought such occurrence would be quite common and sometime inevitable. What is more important is for the influencer to better strengthen one's ability to manage and face such adversities. Within the family, we held our values to always respect and not causing harm to others, as such, I was glad that Qi tried to revert the situation once she knew it was going the wrong way. I believed that everyone will make some mistakes in their life, the key is to learn and grow strongly after the mistake, isn't it?
Due to Convid, we cannot go over to Papa place to celebrate Ling's birthday this year. However we have a special guest all the way from Holland to celebrate this special day with her. So nice.

After four good years of studying, Qi attended her commencement ceremony on 16-Oct-2021, which officially concluded her graduation from NUS. This ceremony had been postponed several times due to the changing Convid situation, initially planned in July which required every attendees to conduct a PCR test prior to the ceremony. In this case, we can attend as long as we're vaccinated. The number of receiving students in each session were also limited to avoid overcrowding which I felt was good. I remembered during my convocation, it was quite boring to sit there for hours waiting for the long list to be completed.
As parents, we are of course very happy that Qi able to graduate successfully and moved to her next phase in life. We even made a tiktok together that day! Now, one responsibility down now, two to go.
