NYJC Pugilistic gathering : Jun-19

When I joined NYJC Pugilistic, our batch was pretty small, probably about 13 of us.  However we were young and energetic then and were able to proudly put up a fantastic Pugilistic Night performance which drew to a full house of audience.  Eight of us caught up recently, some as long as 30 years had never met.  It was an awesome gathering and we chat endlessly, recalling fond memories and playing catch up.

 After the gathering, I also converted some of our performance videos during our Pugilistic Night and share them thru' Youtube.  Such nice moments to remember when you are a youth.

Hong Kong trip with ling : Jun-19

The last time we visited Hong Kong was more than 12 years ago, our first and only family trip together with Mummy.  Qi and Xuan were still so young then and HK Disneyland had also just opened.

So after such a long while, I planned a short trip to visit Hong Kong again, but just the two of us, to have a short break from our routine and get re-charge.  In my view, Hong Kong is pretty much the same and still busier than Singapore.  For the few days, we did a lot of walking around Hong Kong and Kowloon area, enjoying mostly the yummy food around and catching up with friends.  We were also fortunate to visit our HK SGI Centre and attended their world peace gongyo meeting.

Denise 21st Birthday: Jun-19

We were grateful to be invited to attend Denise 21st birthday.  Time flies to see these girls grown up so fast!

First success with my plant tank : Jun-19

After acquiring some seeds from an organic exhibition and some advice from the vendor in Singapore, I finally had my first success with my plant tank, with a Red Amaranth plant!

Yesterday night, we went down to hougang CC to support Qi's dance performance.  I was also invited to photography the event for them and thus, a good opportunity to capture some good shot of Qi and her friends.

Qi has been with her ballet teacher, Ms Boo, for about 15 years now. It is great to see her passion in dancing continue all these years. Not sure how long it will continue but she sure has our support!

Duet with Xuan (小幸运) : Jun-19

Proud to be able to play along and duet with Xuan on the popular song 小幸运,  which I just learnt a couple of weeks ago.  Such beautiful voice she had, loved it.
