This was my second-time volunteering at SK's excursion. Similarly, I was assigned to another K1 class other than En's; again I took Caleb's class.(: We went to Bedok Central this time.

our class found some benches to seat the kids for tea break! |
This term's theme was the neighbourhood, that was why the children
were brought to Bedok Central where they walked down the corridor of
shop houses, and were given brief introduction to the different kinds of
shops they saw. Eg pharmacy, money-changer, shoeshop, medical hall, and so on..

the children munching on their bread in between our chats.. |
This time round, I had very good chats with the children whom I was attached. In fact, we chatted so much that many could not finish their buns in time after the assigned break time!! :D
Soka Kindergarten children are indeed very bubbly and vocal!
The highlight of this trip for the children must be the playground!! It's the first time I see so many children running around so happily and playing so harmoniously at the playground!!
I positioned myself at the ladder of the high slide, helping some kids climb onto the first step, which was pretty high for some of the smaller-built kids. It was very interesting because I see some of the children were actually rather scared to take the slide, but due to them being very high from all the running and screaming around, they actually juz followed their friends. So when they were actually at the steps, some withdrew, a couple even cried; I had to encourage and coax.. and I saw a couple even went for second and third rounds! Hahahaa..
