Another artwork for 9.28 : Sep-08
Xuan Xuan was requested to create another artwork to be printed on the 9.28 notebook in Black&White. So with a good combined effort, Xuan Xuan came out with her art piece and I help her by using Photoshop to fill up the colours and convert them into B&W.

New set of family posters : Sep-08
After a few months, another set of family posters are up on the wall, this time with En'en's photos on it... :-)
Designing 9.28 wishes boards : Sep-08
Xuan Xuan had been appointed to be our 9.28 artist and she had contributed pieces and pieces of artwork to the wishes boards. On a Saturday afternoon, we gathered at Linda's place to put all the wishes cards together for the 4 homes' children. There were great praises on Xuan Xuan's efforts.
A Company Retreat : Sep-08
My company had organized a departmental retreat to a rather 'nature' place, GardenAsia. It's at Neo Tiew Crescent somewhere near Lim Chu Kang. They even have very nice Long Houses for a farm stay... if our gals are keen, this holiday idea would be worth considering.

Do Re Mi reference for 9.28 : Sep-08
Shin Yang is planning the 9.28 finale with this song and requested me to borrow the "sound of music" DVD for her reference. After viewing, Shin Yang said this song is very lively and makes her happy... So i had 'cut' it out and shared it here... :P
Confirmed Bookworm! : Sep-08
Xuan Xuan got a certificate from her school certifying her as the 'biggest' bookworm in school for the month of August. I am actually impressed in her interest in reading books, think she's gifted in this area.

Brief HortPark Trip : Sep-08
To satisfy Xuanxuan's constant request to go to a park, her papa found out about this HortPark which supposedly connects to many parks in Singapore and will take many hours to finish the walk. Today is juz a 'preview', to check out the place before we indeed embark on the many-hour walk from this HortPark.. :)
En'en has two ponytails : Sep-08
Qiqi who has always been very nimble and creative with her fingers and hair, worked on her youngest sister for the first time.. and managed to tie tiny ponytails on En'en.

A day with the gals : Sep-08
It is school holiday and Shin Yang is off at work in KL... we decided to try out the new swimming complex at Seng Keng, entering with just $3, we are delighted with the facilities it provides... there are 2 standard pools (1 indoor 1 outdoor), 2 jacuzzi pool, a kids' playground and 7 slides! great great fun... & value for money...
After the swim, we headed to Raffles Hotel to get Shin Yang's favourite mooncakes and then to one of the gals' favourite restuarant, Jack's place, at Bras Brasah... and as usual, Xuan Xuan ordered her chicken sausage and egg meal... :-)
Later in the evening, we are in T3 to fetch Shin Yang back from KL... Day well spent indeed...
