After visting the third aquarium shop, we finally managed to find one which sells terrapins... the previous 2 shops claimed that all terrapins were sold out! Xuan was jumping with joy, her boring Sunday (she claimed) had instantly turned into an exciting one. She had yet to think about their names.

Qiqi squeezed into Xuan's costume : Jan-08

Qiqi found her mei-mei's costume during our spring cleaning and vainly squeezed into it... she enjoyed herself anyway and had great fun.

Update on papaya tree: 26-Jan-08

Our papaya tree has flowers!! 2 flowers to be exact.. Xuanxuan was so excited about it.. "that means we'll have our own papayas to eat very soon!" As i was wonderin aloud if our papaya would be sweet, Xuanxuan insisted that they will as "the seed was taken from a very sweet papaya," she recalled.

Yummy.. hope the birds & the ants won't beat us to the fruit..

Kids enjoying the new cosy corner at Ah Jia's place : Jan-08

Hong spent abt 1k to setup this cosy corner at Mummy's place, the kids simply enjoyed it! Played with the terrapin... had dinner there... feed the fishes... next thing you'll know, they come "barking" for their own cosy corner setup in our house.

Xuanxuan & her migrant papaya plant : Jan-08

Qiqi & Xuanxuan planted this little tree from a seed in a papaya we ate after dinner more than a year ago. As the plant grew in the flower pot outside our flat, their Papa decided that it's time to give the plant more space to grow if we want it flower & grow fruit.

Hence, the 15-cm skinny little plant was 'secretly' put into the soils of Sturdee View under the veil of the night in Nov'06.

Although still fruitless, this little papaya tree has grown to be even taller than Xuanxuan!

Jay's Concert : 19-Jan-08

Our second Jay's concert in Singapore.... compared to his first concert, he seems to be happier this time... the dancing have more variety this time too... very cool... we have great fun there singing along while swinging lighted baton...

Powerful virus fever! : Jan-08

All females in the family were down with high fever... powerful virus huh...

30-Dec-07 - Started with En'en!
4am... Terror - totally forgotten how to feed medicine to a young baby, fed her three times & she threw out three times... gave up...

03-Jan-08 - Qiqi got it!
2nd day of school and she's on 2 days mc. upgraded herself to pills... and got these beautiful pink coloured pills which she's allergic to... she insisted she's freed of allergy until she was given the 2nd dose and need to go back to the doctor again.

04-Jan-08 - Xuan and ling got it!
ok... every lady in the family is down with fever! ling slept the whole day... need to leave En'en at zhen-jie's place for the night (no one to take care of her)... Xuan complained and cried over her headaches... I took all 3 to the Chinese phyisican in AMK, spent $56... and will be standing in for duty to feed each individual their medicine... what to do.. the only "survivor" from this viral attack.
